About CDSP
Clingendael's Diplomatic Studies Programme (CDSP) has four broad dimensions. First, it studies contemporary trends and innovations in diplomatic practice. Secondly, it is dedicated to an increased understanding of global issues and governance challenges raised by the erosion of national boundaries. Thirdly, CDSP research is focused on the changing geopolitics of international relations, in particular the rise of Asia, the future role of the United States and relations between the Islamic world and the West. Last but not least, it builds on a long-standing worldwide reputation in the field of diplomatic training for a wide variety of countries. Read more »

Social Power in International Politics

Inschrijving Cursus Internationale Politiek geopend
July 5, 2010. Ieder jaar organiseert Instituut Clingendael in het najaar de Cursus Internationale Politiek. Deze cursus biedt een uitstekende mogelijkheid om in een kort tijdsbestek kennis te nemen van internationale verhoudingen en ontwikkelingen. Deskundigen behandelen in een serie van tien colleges zeer verschillende vraagstukken uit de internationale politiek. Voorbeelden zijn: de rol van Nederland in de wereld, het ontwikkelingssamenwerkingsbeleid, de ontwikkeling van internationale organisaties, internationaal-economische problemen en conflictsituaties in verschillende delen van de wereld.
